Privacy Policy

At PromptDesk Pro ("we", "the platform") privacy isn't an add-on: it's the core of the product. This policy explains what information we handle, what information never leaves your device, and which providers we work with. By using the platform you accept this policy.

The most important thing in one line: your trading data — the NinjaTrader CSV, the analyses, the simulations, the equity curves and your results — is processed and stored locally in your browser and never sent to our servers.

1. What information we collect

We only collect the minimum needed for your account and your subscription to exist:

Account: your email address and your subscription status (whether you have an active trial, a current plan, etc.). They are stored with our accounts provider (Supabase).
Sign in with Google (optional): if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and the email of that account.
Preferences: settings such as your time zone or the light/dark theme, associated with your profile.
Saved strategies: if you choose to save a strategy to your account, the content of that strategy/prompt is stored in Supabase so it's available when you return. It does not include your trades or your trading results.
Usage metrics: we use product analytics (PostHog) to understand which sections are used (page views, basic navigation events). These metrics do not include your trading data.

2. What information we do NOT collect

Your trading data — the CSV file you import, the history analysis, the Monte Carlo validator, the Kelly criterion, the metrics, the equity curves and any results — is calculated and stored in your own browser/device (local storage). We don't send it, we don't copy it and we don't see it. It's as private as a file on your computer.

Optional encrypted backup: if you choose to enable the cloud backup from My account, your trading data is encrypted inside your browser with a passphrase only you know, and the only thing that reaches our servers is an encrypted package that nobody can read without your passphrase — not even us (zero-knowledge encryption). If you forget your passphrase, the backup cannot be recovered. You can delete it whenever you want from the same section. If you never enable the backup, your trading data does not leave your device in any form.

3. Artificial intelligence features (important)

Two features use AI (Claude, by Anthropic) and, to work, they send the text and images you enter to the Anthropic API:

Strategy generator: the options, text or image you provide to create your prompt/strategy.
Support chat: the messages you write to the assistant.

That content is processed to generate the response. We recommend not including sensitive personal information there that you don't want to share with an AI provider. Your trading data from the analyzer (the CSV and its calculations) is not sent through these features.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe directly: we don't store them and we don't see them. Of the subscription we only keep its status (active, expired, etc.).

5. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage (localStorage) to keep your trading data and your preferences on your device, and cookies/storage required to keep you signed in. Product analytics may use identifiers to measure usage in aggregate.

Additionally, the site uses the Meta pixel (Facebook/Instagram), a marketing cookie that records visits and general site events (for example, that a trial or a purchase started) in order to measure and show relevant ads on Meta's platforms. This pixel never accesses your trading data (your CSV, metrics or journal): that data lives only on your device, as explained in section 1.

6. Who we share information with

We don't sell your information. We share it only with the providers that make the service work, and only as needed:

Supabase — accounts, sign-in and saved strategies.
Stripe — payment processing.
Google — if you use "Sign in with Google".
Anthropic — the AI behind the generator and the support chat.
PostHog — product usage metrics.
Meta — marketing pixel (site visits and general events, never trading data).

7. Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from My account; that removes your account and the associated data (email, subscription status, saved strategies) from our systems. The data stored locally in your browser is under your control: you can remove it by clearing the site's storage on your device.

8. Your rights

Depending on the legislation that applies to you, you can request to access, correct or delete your information, or object to certain uses. To exercise them, write to us (see Contact). Account deletion is available directly inside the app.

9. Security

The site always runs over HTTPS and your subscription is verified server-side. No system is 100% infallible, but we designed the platform to minimize the data we touch: the most sensitive part (your trading) never reaches our servers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make relevant changes, we'll indicate it by updating the date above and, where appropriate, notifying you inside the app.
